Jury Awards Punitive Damages of $2 Million Against FedEx for Sexual Harassment

Jury Awards $328k Verdict Against FedEx for Sexual Harassment

Mr. Winer has obtained many significant trial results including verdicts such as Rahn v. Lowinger, which resulted in a $7.1 million dollar verdict; Walker v. Parzen which resulted in a $4.5 million dollar verdict; and Curtis v. Dizmang in which a jury awarded $1.5 million dollars.

Mr. Winer is recognized as one of the leading attorneys in the State of California at trying cases, especially cases involving psychological trauma. He has received the California Trial Lawyers Association Recognition of Experience Certificate as an experienced trial lawyer. He has been invited to be on the faculty at the Hastings Law School College of Trial Advocacy where he teaches the trial art to other experienced attorneys.

Mr. Winer has been elected by his peers and invited to join the American Board Of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) -- an organization that invites only experienced and recognized trial lawyers into its membership. The ABOTA membership requirement states, "Only the most qualified defense and plaintiff attorneys with courtroom experience are invited to join ABOTA. To qualify for membership courtroom experience must be verified. However, more than the number of trials is considered. High personal character and an honorable reputation are paramount to qualify for ABOTA."

The College of Master Advocates and Barristers: Mr. Winer has been awarded membership as Senior Counsel member of The College of Master Advocates and Barristers--"which status is conferred consistent with the Common Law Tradition of Honoring Skill and Experience as a Trial Lawyer as well as a demonstrated commitment to promoting Excellence in the Art of Trial Advocacy.

In addition, Mr. Winer lectures to attorneys around the State on trial techniques and how to achieve significant verdicts.

In a newspaper article featuring Mr. Winer, a former president of the California Trial Lawyers Association said this:
